Watches are all handled by a professional watchmaker, with over 20 years’ experience in the field, who has worked with most types of brands and watches. Due to our business relationships, we are also able to obtain original parts in some cases, or find an equivalent.

EXTERIOR DETAILING AND POLISHINGStarting at $29

Over time, all watchcases or bracelets will start to lose their shine. Our detailing service will restore their original shine and brilliance. First traces of contamination are removed from bracelets and cases using a state-of-the-art ultrasonic cleaning process. Then, superficial scratches are removed using buffing and polishing equipment to achieve like-new shine and brilliance.

CLEANING & OVERHAULStarting at $59

Routine maintenance is ideal to keep a timepiece functioning at peak performance. Ideally, a routine watch overhaul every three to five years is recommended to keep timepieces performing as designed. Complete watch overhaul consists of:

• Inspection of stem and crown
• Cleaning and lubrication of gaskets
• Cleaning, oiling, and adjusting movements
• Replacing any mal functioning or broken parts, if necessary
• Polishing the case and removing scratches
• Cleaning and polishing the crystal (or replacement, if necessary)

Furthermore, Watchspecialist can replace an automatic movement with a higher-grade, quartz movement.

WATER PRESSURE TEST & GASKET REPLACEMENT

It is essential that a timepiece is able to withstand humidity, atmospheric conditions, and water to maintain proper function. While no watch is technically ‘water proof’ timepieces have been rated to specific levels of water resistance at the factory, and gaskets and seals should be lubricated or replaced regularly to maintain the integrity of the watchcase.

Water pressure testing involves the use of state-of-the-art machinery which indicates exact levels of water resistance for a given timepiece.

VINTAGE WATCH RESTORATIONStarting at $79

Only a highly qualified and experienced professional could undergo a vintage watch restoration. This work requires repairs and most often replacement of parts such as crowns, glasses, dials, hands and even movements but could make an old family heirloom look brand new.
